Project background

Vehicle telemetry at fleet scale is a large, underused asset. The client wanted an analytics platform that turned that data into fuel, maintenance, and behavior insights for their customers.

Challenge

Scaling to high ingest rates, handling noisy and intermittent data, and building analytics that fleet managers could act on rather than admire.

Approach & solution

We built a streaming ingest pipeline into a data lake, with curated analytical views powering fleet dashboards. Cohort comparisons, driver scoring, and maintenance anomaly detection are standard outputs, with exploration tools for more ad-hoc work.

Results & benefits

Customers now surface patterns previously invisible in raw tracking data — fuel outliers, high-risk behavior clusters, early maintenance signals — and use them in operational reviews.
