Project background

Solar plant owners need to separate underperformance from simple bad weather. The client wanted a dashboard that answered 'is my plant performing as it should today?' clearly and quickly.

Challenge

Normalizing output against weather, seasonality, and equipment degradation, and presenting the result in a form non-specialist owners could interpret.

Approach & solution

We integrated inverter data and weather feeds to compute expected vs. actual performance ratios. Strings, inverters, and sites roll up consistently, and deviations trigger prioritized alerts with likely causes attached.

Results & benefits

Owners now catch soiling, shading, and equipment faults quickly rather than on monthly bill review. Several pilot sites recovered meaningful output within the first months after deployment.
